Pharmacist 


The job duties of a pharmacy assistant includes operating the cash register, handling money transactions, answering phone calls, and doing clerical work in the pharmacy. Pharmacy assistants also assist licensed pharmacists with selling and preparing medication to patients in retail pharmacy drugstores.

Salary: This may come as a surprise to some, but Pharmacist income is higher than what is expected. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the average Pharmacist salary is $106,410 annually. The highest-paid Pharmacists earn more than $131,440 per year, and even the lowest-paid Pharmacists are paid $77,390. 

In order to obtain a license, pharmacists generally must earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a college of pharmacy and pass several examinations. Education and training. Pharmacists who are trained in the United States must earn a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.
